Today Is Full Of Fun

Saturday comes! It's a relax time, a celebration to get away temporarily from business of school work and to celebrate one of my roommate's 20th birthday. Seven of the eight roommates joined the celebration( the other guy just did his own business ). We advanced to the amusement park. Haha, it's unusual for us seven guys got together for entertainment outside except Karaoka. And we all enjoyed ourselves to the full. We did a lot of X-games in the amusement park. Of course X-games. What else can we do there! We didn't take our girl friends with us, besides, most of us don't have girl friends. You must feel sorry knowing it. Haha.
I'll show you some photos of me and my roommates, they are all cool guys!

This is the classical formation of the liberation army on the stage in the 60s.
Good background.
I and my bro on his birthday.
So horrible that I don't want to take another try. When the machine accelerated, my calf muscles draged me as if they are not mine.
We had a buffet dinner.
Two hours later... Isn't it ugly? Haha, don't take it seriously. It just happens when I eat food more than enough.
Do you know the hit machine? It's a game to test how strong of your blow. I defeated my two strongest guys with a score of 81t to 74t and 81t to 79t. Even I couldn't believe it. However, the price if high, I sprained my wrist because I eased my strength in advance. It is aching still.

Nice pictures. I didn't realize until I started reading this book by Lijia Zhang "socialism is great, a memoir of the new China" that Beijing University of Aeronaut and Astronaut is a prestigious school like Cambridge or MIT. The book was telling how difficult it is to get into a school like this, you and your friends must be some extremely bright individuals.

Anyway, I was most interested in the picture of you guys eating. =] I noticed that you had some green beer bottles, what kind of beer is that? Is there a drinking age in China? In the U.S. you have to be 21 years old before they can serve you beer.

Also, I found some moon cakes at the Asian store, I liked this one that had taro in it. What are your favorite mooncakes.

Lastly, back to the dinner picture, was that Vietnamese noodle? (Pho)That's one of my regular meals.

Thanks Linda, that's a great day indeed! Oh, my wrist still aches.

Hey, stu. BUAA is not that prestigious as you mentioned, Tsing Hua and Beijing University deserve the honor. My university is a little behind them. And yeah, we are bright, but not extremely, hehe. We drank pure draft beer. There is no drinking age in China. Because it seems no need to be restricted by law. Every child is engrafted not to drink by their eldership. Oh, you ate the mooncakes, great! I prefer the mooncakes made by my grandma, any kind. But she passed away, I miss her. Vietnamese noodles? I haven't eat that kind of noodles yet. I think that's delicious and I'll have a try.
