Manhattan, I love you so much

Every day and every night, when I look out of the window of my bedroom at New Residence, I feel my life is brilliant! The manhattan out of my window is so real and unreal! And I can't stop imagining Spiderman or superman's stopping by. Dawn, mid-day, dusk and midnight are the best moments of the view. It's amazing to see the dancing of sunshine, lights, sky, clouds and the buildings. You just can't get upset because Manhattan will cheer you up when looking at her.

Good news came

I'm so happy to tell you my friends that I recieved the admission letter from the School of Visual Arts for fall 2010 semester. I will study in the Master of Fine Arts program in Computer Arts, with the start of classes on September 7.
I'm so thankful for my mom and all my families and friends who support me during my applying school time. One big step closer to my dream. I will work hard for it.

A new painting

This painting I draw displays a scene that 4 fisherwomen are weaving the nets on the beach of my hometown. I spent 3 hours drawing this one. One mistake I made is that I creat this pic in so few pixels that I can't draw some details about it.

New artwork

This morning, I took the GRE composition part. Not that bad and not that good. What do I plan to do this afternoon? Of course, paint!
This new artwork took me totally seven hours to finish. I havenot have supper yet and it's 21:20 now. But I'm so delighted to see my new artwork done. I learn the book "The photoshop and painter artist tablet book" written by Cher Threinen-Pendarvis all by myself. I followed every instructions the book tells me. But I do the line drawing straight on my Wacom, instead of scanning the paper into the computer.
And I will show you the steps I do the work:
