Can you tell us more about the fisherman in the top photo mending the net? I was once a fisherman for many years so this still interests me. You also said that your dad gave your dog a burial at sea-is your father a fisherman? If so, what kind of fish do they usually catch in your part of the world. Do they have salmon? cod? or maybe tuna?

Nice pictures anyway. Keep blogging, your English is far better than my Chinese and this is a great learning experience.

My father is not a fisherman, but he has a rather deep emotion to the sea. He is very very good at swimming in the sea, he can even dive deep into the sea without any instument for safety. Do you notice an islet in the picture? Father often swam to that place from the beach with his friends when he was young.
Although I don't know much about the life of fisherman, I will ask some of my relations who are fishermen for help. And I will write an article later on my blog.
