My Hometown

My hometown locates by the Pacific Ocean. It's a seaport called LianYungang. The city faces 3 moutains and 1 sea. So it's not strange that you can see the moutains and the sea. My house just locates by the sea. I can feel the moist wind when I open the window.

I really like these pictures of your hometown. It is very beautiful there. I also live near the sea (Seattle), however we are protected from the coastal weather by a huge peninsula (Olympic Peninsula). The weather here is very temperate and usually cool.

What is the weather like in LianYungang? It is very green so you must get a lot of rain. Someday I will have to visit this place.

Good luck with your studies and plans to come to the U.S.. Do you have an idea were you would study here. Judging by your interests I would say California Institute of Technology, I think they have a lot of space type studies. But if you like hacking on computers, I would recommend the University of Washington in Seattle. It is very beautiful here, and the people are very friendly.

Forgive my foolishness, I'm not quite sure about the location of Seattle. I checked the map of America, it lies at a harbour. So I imagine the weather of Seattle will never be attacked by hurricans or tornados like Florida.
I don't think the weather in my hometown is better than that in yours because of the monsoon wind. That means we will have a hot summer but not a too cold winter. Yes, it often rains, but quickly comes quickly goes.
I'll upload some more pics about my hometown, I haven't been home for a year and miss it very much.
Thanks for your advice on my study in America. Hopefully, I can be admitted by the universities you recommended.
